DESIGN UPCYCLING FOR A BAR
MENU FOR DRINKS
Chez Michel is a small, wild bar in the historic center of Tübingen. Its owner, Darko, has a passion for comics. So, when he came to us with the desire to have unique drink menus designed, there was nothing more obvious than “upcycling” or simply “repurposing” used comic books for this purpose. The advantages are obvious: We use high-quality and sturdy hardcover books that can withstand rough counter use and depending on availability, drink menus can simply be attached to the existing comic pages. Finally: The guests have something to read while waiting for their drinks. With this in mind: Cheers! There’s enough for everyone!
