One city, five districts, 28 buildings: the administrative offices of the City of Filderstadt are scattered across five neighborhoods.
Yet they still form one large team—and they wanted to finally showcase that through an attractive employer brand, strengthening the sense of community among employees.

That most employees enjoy working here is beyond question. The reason is simple: they all find it deeply meaningful to work together for the well-being of the city.But do the people of Filderstadt know this? And what reputation does the city administration have as an employer?
It quickly became clear: the employer brand should not only have an internal impact but also free the city administration from its outdated public image. It should raise awareness of the many career opportunities and, above all, highlight the meaningful nature of the work. -

A street survey conducted at the beginning of the employer branding process revealed that most citizens do not have a clear understanding of the diverse tasks carried out by a city administration. This made one thing clear: we needed to tell stories—stories of real people and their exciting everyday working lives.
