Brand concept, corporate design, and employer branding for the District Administration Office
GO ALL THE WAY
BRAND CONCEPT AND CORPORATE DESIGN
NEW DIRECTION FOR THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION REUTLINGEN
Administrator or designer? Or even both? The Reutlingen District Office looked at their existing corporate design and then asked themselves a few questions: How have they been perceived so far, what are their strengths and which characteristics do they want to publicize even more?
It turns out that the employees at the Reutlingen District Office are committed to competently and passionately shaping their district’s scenic, economic, and cultural diversity – and always keep the big picture in mind.
To make this visible to the district’s citizens, we as an agency developed a brand-new corporate design – from logo to imagery to business cards.

A district that is made up of many different areas. A district office that keeps an eye on many details. Colors and shapes that convey certain characteristics. From these specifications, we developed a new logo as part of the CD, which is based on the previous colors of the Reutlingen district office. And we developed a claim that summarises all of this in a nutshell: The big picture.
We are now implementing the new corporate design – in an online manual, of course, making it accessible and visible to everyone.

Why do people actually work at the Reutlingen District Office? After developing the logo and corporate design for the administrative authority, we are asking exactly this question: What distinguishes the District Office as an employer? To get a truly authentic answer, we are conducting workshops across all 28 departments and designing a bespoke online employee survey, which we will conduct among 1,200 employees. Based on the evaluation, we can provide recommendations for communication and organisational culture. This reveals a few tangible benefits that are unique in their combination: Time for the family yet career opportunities, flexible and at the same time regulated working structures, meaningful tasks and still enough time for private life. These are the best conditions for an employer branding campaign that will attract the attention of potential employees.

The Reutlingen District Office focuses on its employees as a whole – with all their requirements and in all situations. And this makes it possible for them to see the whole picture themselves – and thus make the whole thing whole. From this, we developed our claim for the employer brand, which is also the URL for the new careers page: GANZESACHEMACHEN.de.
